My Inspiration: Seeing My Child's Light

The Adventures of Ekpen series began simply: as stories I made up to soothe my son. When I recognized this storytelling ability as a **gift from God** and truly opened my heart to it, I was inspired to write more books and share these heartfelt conversations with families everywhere.

My background in early childhood education taught me the power of story to shape character. That’s why the books are intentionally built around themes like **empathy, self-esteem, and embracing diversity. I believe reading should be a tool for bonding and a gentle guide to navigating the complexities of growing up.
